Plaza Properties is a partnership formed by Joe Siegert and Brad Barkau. They maintain offices in Nashville, IL for bookkeeping and legal issues and one in Grayville, IL for property acquisitions and leasing. They prefer to buy fully occupied retail shopping centers in the South and Midwest. They currently have properties in Illinois, Arkansas, Mississippi and Tennessee. Siegert and Barkau manage all of their properties personally.

Plaza Properties is aggressively acquiring shopping centers from $6,000,000 to $50,000,000. They are yield buyers and prefer cash flow to equity accumulation. After buying a property they normally will obtain non-recourse financing with a rate lock of 10-15 years.
